Sensory Sensitive Birthday Parties
The lights, sounds, and excitement of birthday parties are a welcome event for most kids. But if your child deals with one or more sensory-processing disorders, parties can be stressful and overwhelming for both them and you. Depending on the type and severity of a child’s SPD, it’s still possible to host a party.
D. Richardson Productions staff has been trained to create an experience still full of magic but on a calmer side. Our entertainers host activities that will not cause any sensory problems. Firstly, keeping voice and music levels for low. We also replace balloon animals from the show, to avoid the popping of balloons which can trigger emotions. Activities include coloring and quiet kid-friendly activities.
